Contact
One address, read by a person: contact@decibench.com
There is no contact form here on purpose. A form would mean collecting and storing your details on a server, and this site does not have one.
Reporting an error in a calculator
This is the most valuable thing you can send, and it gets answered first. To make it quick to act on, include:
- Which tool, and the exact inputs you used
- The result it gave, and the result you expected
- Where your expected figure comes from — a standard and clause, a datasheet, or a measurement
If a published figure here is wrong it gets corrected, and the correction is noted on the tool's page.
Requesting a tool
Tell me the calculation and, more usefully, the situation it comes up in. The gap a working engineer describes is worth more than a list of formulas: knowing which case keeps catching people out is what makes a tool worth building rather than just correct.
Data protection
To exercise any right under the GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent — write to the same address. See the privacy policy for what is and is not processed, which is very little.
Response times
This site is run by one person alongside other work. Reports of a technical error usually get a reply within a few days. Data protection requests are answered within one month, as the GDPR requires.
